A Rockville, Indiana, woman was sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to multiple drug charges that happened in Posey County.
Court records show that during a traffic stop, deputies observed the driver and passengers of the vehicle to appear nervous and shaking.
Tashia Miniard was a passenger in the vehicle. Miniard gave deputies consent to search her purse.
During the search, a metal “one-hitter” smoking device was found.
Miniard is classified as a habitual offender under Indiana law due to prior felony convictions.
