A man has been arrested for his alleged involvement in a shooting that left one person dead.
Sunday night, officers responded to Madison Avenue after several gunshots were heard.
When they arrived on scene, they found the body of 17-year-old James Brown.
He had been shot in the head.
Witnesses say that a dark-colored sedan sped away from the scene.
The driver, Christian Simpson, was pulled over shortly after the shooting.
Two guns were found inside the vehicle along with blood and marijuana.
Simpson allegedly admitted to giving the victim a pistol before the shooting happened.
He is charged with Dangerous Control of a Firearm, Contributing to Delinquency of a Minor, and Possession of Marijuana.
