Sept 29 (Reuters) – The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirmed two measles-related deaths in the country this year, up from one earlier, according to the agency’s website on Tuesday.
The confirmation comes as measles cases continue to rise across the country, with 3,659 confirmed cases as of September 24.
The US Department of Health and Human Services, which oversees the CDC, did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment for details on the additional death.
