A Newburgh woman is facing multiple drug charges stemming from her attempt to conceal meth in a body cavity.
Brittany Deener was pulled over by the Posey County Sheriff’s Office for crossing the center line.
During a search of the vehicle, deputies located a syringe that contained meth.
During the jail booking process, it was discovered that Deener had a syringe concealed in her underwear.
The jail’s body scanner revealed a balloon-shaped object that appeared to be located inside her.
Law enforcement identified the object as more than 16 grams of meth wrapped in plastic.
If convicted as charged, Deener faces 3 to 16 years in prison.
