Ohio County authorities have a man in custody after a victim was found dead at a home in Horse Branch.
Monday morning, deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the 15000 block of U.S. 62.
The gun used in the murder was located in a pond just off US 231 south of Hartford.
Jesse Baize’s charges include murder, failure to report the death of a person, criminal trespassing, and tampering with evidence.
The victim’s name has not been released.
Officials believe the two knew each other.
