Getting around town just got a little easier for disabled veterans living in Evansville.
The city announced a 3-year pilot program that will provide veterans with free bus service through a new Patriot Pass.
The idea was suggested by a resident during a Traveling City Hall meeting.
Veterans can register at the METS Office or the Evansville VA Health Care Center.
They can also download a registration form online and mail it to the METS Administrative Office.
