The first traffic numbers are in for the hybrid intersection at Lloyd & Stockwell.
It’s been about a year since the intersection reopened with the improvements.
INDOT is reporting fewer crashes, reduced travel times, and improved corridor efficiency.
Before the improvements, numerous cars would have to wait through multiple cycles to turn left from Lloyd onto Stockwell, and now almost all traffic waits through just one.
Construction at Cross Point, Burkhardt, and Red Bank is expected to be completed in late fall.
