The Warrick County Coroner’s Office has released the names of the couple found dead in their home on Hannah Court.
They are Aileen and David Wells of Newburgh.
Sheriff Michael Wilder believes the couple had been dead for less than 24 hours before they were found on Monday night.
He said there is no indication of any forced entry or an intruder.
As of now, investigators are leaning toward a murder-suicide, but have stopped short of making a formal determination.
An autopsy is scheduled for today.
