The Evansville Philharmonic Chorus will hold general auditions for the 2026–2027
season on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 5:00
to 8:00 p.m. at St. Benedict Cathedral, 1328 Lincoln Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714.
Auditions are scheduled on a first-response, first-scheduled basis by emailing Director of Operations
and Chorus Manager Craig Branch at cbranch@evansvillephilharmonic.org. Each audition will last
approximately 20 minutes. Singers of all experience levels are encouraged to audition, and additional
details will be provided upon registration.
Under the direction of Chorus Master Andrea Drury, the Evansville Philharmonic Chorus is a volunteer
ensemble of approximately 100 singers who perform alongside the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra in
major choral works and select repertoire throughout the season.
In the 2026–2027 season, the Chorus will appear with the Evansville Philharmonic Orchestra in
Halloween Spectacular (October 2026), Peppermint Pops (December 2026), and Windows of Heaven
(February 2027), as well as present an independent Spring Choral Concert.
Weekly rehearsals begin Monday, August 17, 2026. Additional rehearsals will be required during
performance weeks when collaborating with the Orchestra.
