A Newburgh man will serve 12 years in prison for stalking and threatening an ex-girlfriend.
Court records show that a no-contact order had been issued for the protection of Justin Eoff’s ex-girlfriend.
In January 2025, he violated the no-contact order.
An investigation led by the Mt. Vernon Police Department revealed messages had been sent from Eoff to the victim that included photographs of homes that belonged to her, as well as comments that he had placed tracking devices on her vehicle.
Eoff was on electronic monitoring while serving a sentence in another criminal case at the time he sent the threatening messages.
GPS coordinates collected by law enforcement confirmed that he had visited the area of the victim’s residence.
