The Houston Dash transferred midfielder Emina Ekic to Italy’s Parma Calcio 1913 for an undisclosed fee on Monday.
Ekic, 27, appeared in five matches for Houston after arriving from Lexington SC in April.
She began her pro career at Racing Louisville, who made her the fifth overall pick in the 2021 NWSL Draft. She had three goals and one assist in 38 appearances with Racing Louisville from 2021-23.
Internationally, Ekic represents Bosnia and Herzegovina and scored three goals during the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup qualifying cycle earlier this year.
