A Mount Vernon Megasite has earned a Silver designation through REDI Sites.
The 544-acre site offers barge, rail, and highway access, served by OmniTRAX rail operations and positioned in a designated foreign trade zone.
REDI Sites evaluated the property across five weighted categories, which are Utilities, Ownership & Entitlements, Environmental, Ease of Development, and Logistics.
Evansville Regional Economic Partnership pursued the nationally recognized designation with Ports of Indiana.
