Indiana State Police believe a tornado hit Winslow on Wednesday afternoon.
The storm left downed trees and power lines, and several homes and buildings were damaged.
The town is waiting on official confirmation as to whether it was a tornado.
No injuries were reported.
A large number of students and staff were impacted by the storms, and there was some damage at Pike Central.
Classes should resume Friday.
