Boonville Police have added two new members to their department.
Ringo is the first dual-purpose K9 in 26 years.
He is trained to detect narcotics and apprehend suspects.
Boon is the first therapy dog in the department’s history.
Officer Casey Miller said she is looking forward to the comfort Boon will bring to the team.
Both dogs will be available to meet at Boonville National Night Out on August 4.
