An Illinois woman accused of faking cancer made her first court appearance yesterday.
In 2025, students and staff at a Fairfield grade school held a fundraiser for Stacey Robbins’s cancer treatments.
A GoFundMe was also created.
Charges were filed a year later after it was discovered that she did not have cancer.
Court records show Robbins acknowledged she’s seen a list of all the alleged victims and the amounts of money she’s accused of taking.
Her preliminary hearing is set for July 28.
