A person is in jail after a weekend shooting.
It happened around 11:00 Friday night in the 200 block of West Michigan Street.
Once officers were on scene, it was determined that Jeffrey Bonham had shot his nephew, Blake Devine, in the arm.
At the hospital, Devine told detectives there was an argument with Jeffrey about a key fob to the apartment.
Bonham told officers that he thought his nephew had a miniature baseball bat in his hand, and that is why he shot him.
He was booked and charged with battery with a deadly weapon.
