If you have to do your business while in downtown Evansville, you’re in luck.
The “Portland Loo” is officially open.
The 24/7 public restroom, the first of its kind, is located at the corner of Sycamore and 6th Street, right next to the METS bus station.
The project was designed to provide a clean, safe, and accessible option for people visiting the downtown area.
It is ADA accessible with security measures to monitor the space.
A larger loo is coming later this year at 4th and Main Street.
