The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office encourages drivers to buckle up as the join with other Indiana agencies in the “Click It or Ticket” campaign.
During this time, deputies will conduct high-visibility patrols focused on seatbelt and child restraint compliance.
The goal of the campaign is to increase seatbelt usage, reduce serious injury crashes, and promote safe driving habits among motorists.
In addition to enforcement efforts, deputies will also focus on educating drivers and passengers about the importance of proper seatbelt use and child passenger safety.
The campaign runs through May 31.
