An Evansville man who attempted to video record his stepdaughter in the shower is facing charges.
Lucas Winstead admitted to police that he hid his phone in the ceiling vent, knowing the teen would take a shower after he used the bathroom.
When Lucas returned, the phone was not there.
He sent her a text message later that day to apologize.
He was booked into the Vanderburgh County Jail and charged with attempted child exploitation and voyeurism by means of a camera.
