The Ravens added a fifth quarterback to the depth chart by signing veteran Skylar Thompson to the 90-man roster on Monday.
Details of the deal were not disclosed.
He joins two-time MVP Lamar Jackson, backup Tyler Huntley and undrafted rookie free agents Diego Pavia and Joe Fagnano in the QB room.
Thompson, 28, last appeared in an NFL game with the Miami Dolphins in 2024. He spent most of last season on injured reserve with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
A seventh-round pick by Miami in 2022, Thompson completed 58.7% of his passes for 721 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions in 10 games (three starts) with the Dolphins.
First-year Ravens coach Jesse Minter told reporters this weekend that the team could carry up to five quarterbacks this offseason.
