Families in Owensboro will see new signs on the city’s playgrounds.
Organizers say the signs will help all kids feel included.
Officials say they’re a wonderful augmentative tool for people who may be nonverbal or use English as a second language.
The signs have colorful graphics paired with words that kids can use to talk with each other.
This new communication tool was made possible by the City of Owensboro, the school district, and a local clinic.
