April 29 (Reuters) – Pershing Square’s shares opened at $24 in their New York Stock Exchange debut on Wednesday, as investors buy into billionaire activist Bill Ackman’s alternative asset management company.
The share price for PSUS, the closed end fund, opened at $42 a share. Investors who paid $50 a share at the initial offering also received 0.2 shares of PS, the hedge fund company, which opened at $24 a share, leaving investors with a combined value of $46.8.
