The third suspect wanted in connection with the Mt. Vernon Avenue double murder has been taken into custody.
30-year-old John Cameron Parker was arrested a little before 5:00 this morning.
Police believe that Parker, along with Caden Wayne Harms were picked up by Richard Dee Garrett.
Garret told police he saw Parker with a black pistol from a backpack before getting out of the car on Mt. Vernon Avenue.
Garrett heard shots.
Harms confirmed that Parker was the triggerman and that clothes were burned on a grill at a Mary Street home.
The gun was recovered by police.
All three suspects are in custody.
