Two men were pulled over on Sunday for having expired plates on Shanklin and Fifth Avenue.
Police say they could smell marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
The occupants of the car were 27 year old Dakota Payne and 19 year old Samuel Parker.
A bag of marijuana was found in Payne’s pant pocket and Parker admitted to police that he was in possession of a gun.
They were both handcuffed while police searched the vehicle.
Two stolen guns and a backpack with baggies and a digital scale were found.
They were both transported to the Vanderburgh County Jail.
