Indiana Governor Mike Braun has accepted the parole board’s unanimous recommendation to execute Jeffrey Weisheit.
Attorneys were asking the governor to delay the execution for an investigation into the lethal drugs purchased by the state.
They claim the pharmacy has failed safety inspections and even claim the drugs came from the gray market.
The Indiana Department of Correction will carry out the court-ordered sentence of execution on Thursday.
