The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office conducted a countywide compliance operation focused on registered sex and violent offenders.
The operation was intended to verify compliance with state registration requirements and promote public safety ahead of Halloween.
Deputies conducted in-person verification checks at registered residences and workplaces to confirm addresses, employment, and other required registry information.
The checks verified 126 offenders and resulted in two arrests.
Sheriff Noah Robinson stated that the safety of our residents is always a priority, especially during the holidays.
