A third person is facing a murder charge in connection with a shooting on Madison Avenue.
Evansville police arrested 16-year-old D’Narius Collins.
He admitted to investigators his involvement in the shooting death of 17-year-old James Brown Jr.
According to a police report, a group was gathered at a nearby home for a birthday party when several people stepped outside as gunfire erupted from an alley.
Collins admitted to an acquaintance that he planned the shooting with Ayden Simms and Keaton Howard.
The shooting was part of an ongoing feud between two local gangs, “The Sev” and “The Three Fours.”
