A Daviess County man is in custody after deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant.
Kyle Smith barricaded himself inside a pole barn.
After three hours, Smith fired a 12-gauge shotgun, then drove a vehicle through the closed garage door.
Deputies pursued Smith at speeds near 100 mph until he lost control and crashed.
He was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for evaluation.
Smith is facing several charges, including 12 counts of wanton endangerment.
