A plea deal has been reached in the case of the man accused of stealing a beer truck.
Randall Baker stole the truck from a liquor store last March.
He then led police on a chase into Posey County.
Baker’s arrest made national headlines after body camera footage of the pursuit was released.
He was originally charged with attempted murder, but that charge was dismissed as part of the deal.
Baker was sentenced to two and a half years in prison, followed by two and a half years of work release.
His license was also suspended for a year.
He must undergo alcohol and substance abuse treatment and was ordered to pay more than $15,000 in restitution for the damaged beer truck.
