A Louisville man was arrested after he used a victim’s credit cards to purchase gift cards.
Police were called to the east side Walmart to investigate a suspicious situation.
An employee told officers that a man, later identified as Christopher Kitrell, had attempted to use multiple bank cards to purchase gift cards.
After leaving that store, police pulled Kitrell over.
They say his Kentucky driver’s license status showed up as revoked and that his vehicle didn’t have a license plate on it.
The license plate was found inside the trunk along with $1,000 worth of gift cards.
He is charged with fraud and several driving-related offenses.
