Monday morning Newburgh Police Officers attempted to stop a vehicle along French Island Trial for a moving violation.
The occupants in the vehicle were seen throwing items out the car window, which police learned later was meth.
The chase ended in Spencer County, near Hatfield, and the occupants were taken to jail.
During the booking process, a male subject appeared to have a medical issue.
Life-saving measures were attempted, but not successful.
The female was identified as Brittany Webb, who has a felony warrant out of Tennessee.
Indiana State Police are investigating.
