In one of his last acts as mayor, Lloyd Winnecke paid a visit to the WIKY morning show during which he presented the station with a Key to the City.
Winnecke, a frequent visitor to the WIKY Morning Show, said the award commemorates the station’s 75 years of service to the community.
The outgoing mayor praised the station’s civic mindedness and it’s presentation of news and entertainment to the entire region.
The award was presented to morning show hosts Dennis Jon Bailey and Diane Douglas along with WIKY Operations Manager Aaron Santini
