A Henderson County family court judge has been suspended from practicing law indefinitely.
A Kentucky Bar Association v. Curlin document from February 2023 states David Curlin had failed to answer a charge issued by the Inquiry Commission in two separate disciplinary cases.
In one instance he failed to respond to two separate bar complaints.
These were related to the legal services he performed before his election to judicial office.
Curlin could have disciplinary proceedings brought against him.
The court’s opinion says his pay status will not be affected.
