It’s been a year, as of today, since the house explosion in north Weinbach killed three people.
The blast damaged 39 houses surrounding it.
The Indiana Department of Homeland Security determined that a leaking natural gas line caused the explosion.
Today, one year later, the lot where the house of origin once stood remains empty, and adjacent lots are also vacant.
There are still houses with windows boarded up and with damage still showing.
