Evansville dispatch received a report of an attempted kidnapping Tuesday evening in the 4900 block of Stratford Road on the city’s north side.
A white male with a short beard was seen driving a black minivan with a covered license plate.
The suspect grabbed the young girl’s arm.
She kicked him and the man drove off.
Another female told police that the same man asked her to get in his vehicle.
The suspect was last seen on southbound First Avenue.
