The man who originally admitted to killing Candilyn Sexton a week ago, pled not guilty in court yesterday
30 year old Scott Terry Jr. is facing more charges, including murder and an enhancement for the termination of a pregnancy during the murder.
In Indiana there is a law that allows a person to be charged with murder, manslaughter or feticide of a fetus in any stage of development.
This can add extra 6 to 20 years to the sentence if found guilty.
Terry is due back in court next month.
